There’s no patch this week, but we’re coming at you with some unexpected mid-week updates, including new Connection Rewards, flash sales, a weekend contest, and a sneak preview of our Biggest Giveaway Ever.
Connection Rewards
Well left that one alone for a while, didn’t we?
A new set of daily and weekly Connection Rewards have been set up. There will be a brief server reset shortly before midnight CET on January 31st to apply the new rewards.
While we were brushing the dust off the Connection Rewards, we saw an even thicker layer atop the OX Quiz rewards, so they have been updated as well. The quiz is held Saturdays at 8am and 8pm CET in the OX Quiz Arena, which is accessible from Hefei.
Golden Weekend
Golden Weekend begins on Friday, January 28th, 1800 CET, and will last until Sunday, January 30th, 2359 CET.
At least they won't be using heroin flavoured bananas to finance revolutions.
Golden Weekend is a competition, open to all players. The object is to collect as many Lucky Golden Coins as you can from the [Event] Golden Boxes found all over the Land.
The rules:
- The five characters who collect the most Lucky Gold Coins, as verified in our logs, will be declared the winners.
- Only Lucky Golden Coins collected within the event period are counted.
- The object is to collect Lucky Golden Coins. Coins already in your inventory before the beginning of the event are not counted.
- Coins are only counted as “collected” if looted. Receiving coins from another character on the same account does not count as “collecting” them.
- The character who collects the highest number of coins will be allowed to select one prize from Golden Weekend Packages A to E.
- The second-place winner will have first selection from the four remaining prizes. This continues until all five prizes are awarded. No prize package will be awarded more than once.
- We will first attempt to contact each winner in-game, and then via email.
- If a winner does not respond to our email within 72 hours, their coin count will be declared null, and we will move on to the next winner. The sixth-place character will then be eligible for the final prize package.

New Year’s Giveaway
