您好, 巨龍!

Salutations, Dragons!

Travelers are spreading tales of the fabulous wealth and extravagance of the famed City of Sapphires. And although the road to Qingdao isn’t open yet, you’ll have a chance to reap some of the profits.

With the trade winds blowing favourably, a whole shipload of discounts and new offers have made their way to the Marketplace for the biggest shopping day of the year.

While we tried to mix up experience and drop rate bonuses between different zones earlier in our Nine Dragons service, it generally wasn't well-received by players who prefer to focus their grind in one zone. Still, we're going to try something new with Hermit's Blessing, by featuring increased bonuses to Kung Fu Experience in each clan's headquarters zone. Let us know what you think!

Nine Dragons Ranking Page Open!

Just in time for our upcoming update, the Ranking Page is now functional, along with weekly rewards for our top-performing players.

The nine players who’ve reached the highest level (and the highest experience total, in the case of ties) will each be awarded a special epithet for the following week, based on their ranking on the leaderboards.

Check your progress and bragging rights on our Rankings Page!

"Noble dragons don't have friends. The closest thing they can get is an enemy who is still alive."

Business is Booming!

What does Yang Wuqi do, aside from being Hefei’s designated “Rich Man”? We don’t know, but there are gigantic volumes of mail with his name going to and from Qingdao. If you keep checking the Event Window (hotkey H) over the next few days, Yang Wuqi’s dealings in Qingdao will be profitable for you, too.

Papaya Play Marketplace

Black Friday may be a nightmare if you work in retail, but we’ve taken the opportunity to put up a selection of items for sizable discounts, as high as 30%. These offers will only last a week!

Our latest series of costumes have arrived, and can be obtained with the coupons found inside the Chic Apparel Box. You can exchange them with Mae Hwar in Hefei for one of four new [Exquisite] Costumes, or if you save them up, you can select one of two new [Exquisite] Premium Costumes.

The Stylish Wardrobe coupon exchange has been moved to Sua.

Top Left to Right: Navy Blue Costume, Dancing Dragon Costume

Bottom Left to Right: Golden Blue Costume, Dancing Dragon Costume

No, this is not a photo from the last bachelorette party you attended.

Left to Right: Golden Fish/Dragon Patterned Top, Demon Ambassador, Warm Wardrobe, Courtier's Clothing/Opulent Merchant's Regalia

On sale for one week only is a new item, the Deviant Suppression Support Package. This box contains:

·        A full set of Dark Ghost Blood Sorcerer Clothing (Male and Female)

·        One of each type of Blood Sorcerer Crimson (Repel) weapons, refined to +18

·        Full sets of Level 7 Kunlun relics and Flawed Hainan Relics

As you can see, it’s all relatively high end. However, the contained equipment can't be traded, and it all only lasts for 30 days (once the boxes are opened). So while it’s probably not the best idea to pour a lot into socketing or Options, it's a whole month of high-end gear at a reasonable price, and that can take you a lot closer towards a permanent set.

30 days in Heaven is better than 29 days in Heaven.

Bug Fixes and Notes

An issue has been resolved which was causing the summoned Demon Lords from the True Name event to enter a state where they were effectively impossible to kill.

Multiple players were affected by this, but the issue was more likely to occur when the Demon Lords took an extended amount of time to be slain, so lower-powered players experienced the majority of the inconvenience. While we can’t make up the exact loss for every player, we are providing every account with a level 130+ character with 5 complementary Scrolls of Demon Calling. They can be claimed from the Event Window (hotkey H) until November 24th.

Companions

Companions are coming soon! Our next major update will introduce the Companion system, which will allow you to recruit one of six available NPC's to assist you in battle. Each Companion expects a payment before they'll join you, but once they do, you're have a tireless ally in battle, who doesn't take a share of the loot or experience.

There's a lot more to Companions than that, so get yourself up to speed by reading our Companion Guide before they arrive on November 24th.

有空再會!

Thanks, and see you in the Land!
